Substrates are micro-electronic circuits on a ceramic base. Such a circuit consists of Au tracks with integrated NiCr resistors. The circuit does not comprise several layers, but only has a top and bottom side. Locally, electricity conducting connections may be made between top and bottom by means of plated through-holes.
