On Monday 8 December, Henk Kamp, Minister of Defence paid a visit to the headquarters of Thales Nederland in Hengelo. The Minister was given an in-depth introduction to the company and a presentation in the Virtual Reality Room. After lunch Arno Peels, CEO of Thales Nederland accompanied the Minister on a factory tour.  Mr Kamp had prepared his visit and asked numerous questions on all kinds of subjects. He was sincerely interested in the company and did not hesitate to address employees he met during the tour.
