On Thursday 3 November, the Thales plant in Huizen, the Netherlands, was the location of a Customers' Day organized by the Thales Land & Joint Division. The Customer's Day had the form of an exhibition and was visited by representatives from various governments and military organizations. Practically all Land & Joint products were attractively put on display. Sales officers from various countries were present to inform the visitors of the latest developments in communication and optical equipment. The highlight of the exhibition was the interesting presentation by Fred Stein, co-author of "Network Centric Warfare: Developing and Leveraging Information Superiority" on Network Enabled Capabilities. Other demonstrations and presentations focussed on Local Area Systems, the Dutch Digital Soldier System, Battlefield Transformation Centre, homeland security, etc. At the end of the day, all Thales personnel was more than satisfied by the perfect organization and the interest shown by the visitors.
