On 21 April, Denis Ranque, CEO of the Thales Group, honoured the Hengelo plant of Thales Nederland with a daylong visit. One of the items on the program was a speech to the entire staff. In this speech, Mr Ranque spoke about the recent events in the Thales Group and he elaborated on the successful export activities of Thales Nederland. He also shared his views on the changing situation concerning the European naval industry and the unique position of Thales-NL on this market. Appreciating the efforts from all employees, Mr Ranque complimented Thales-NL for maintaining its position as the world-leader on the market for naval radar systems and combat management systems.
