Thales Nederland is always looking for new suppliers to improve its products and services. Our suppliers will have to perform best in class at least at these criteria:
Continuity: Continuity forms an important element as Thales Nederland is mainly interested in long-term relationships. A potential supplier should substantiate this issue by presentation of its financial figures as well as of its market position.
Production, manufacturing and engineering capacity: The ability to offer sufficient capacity to develop and/or produce specific Thales Nederland products.
Flexibility: Flexibility is essential in relation to the execution of innovation, development programmes, the delivery of small quantities of different kinds of products and short delivery times.
Military specifications: For some product groups it is required that potential suppliers are familiar with Military specifications (MIL-standards).
ISO-standards: An ISO-certificate is desirable. The availability of a quality manual and quality procedures will be part of the selection procedure for a new supplier.
Product/technology strategy: It is expected from potential suppliers that they have a clear and consistent policy for their product development and applied technologies in relation to their market position.
Price performance: Potential suppliers should be willing to present insight into their costs structure.
Export regulation: The potential supplier should have a clear understanding of the export regulation of the government related to the country of origin of the goods supplied.
