Thales Nederland has over 35 years experience in world-wide customer training and is capable of adapting the training to the individual customer needs. The training courses can be conducted at the Thales facilities in the Netherlands, or at the customer facilities, depending on the customer requirements.
Thales Nederland has extended facilities for dedicated customer training which included modern classrooms and locations for active practice instruction on systems. These facilities include the welfare aspects of the trainees.
The training programs can be focused either on hardware or on software aspects or on a combination of both. Within the framework of Licensee and co production programs, On the Job Training programs can be given.
Thales Nederland training aims for optimal results by:
- Providing realistic and modular training using real equipment,
- Tuning depth and scope of the training are tuned to the customer on a basis of "needs-to-know" and a defined
task- related course content,
- Providing personal attention for the individual trainee,
Course Material
Instructors, conducting follow-on training, use ready-made training packages. These training packages require the Identification of Course Aids, such as:
- Computer Aided Instruction (CAI)
- Interactive Course-Ware (ICW)
- Teacher/student guides (TG)
- Training materials (TMat)
- Training equipment (Tequip)
Transfer of Knowledge And Technology
Thales Nederland also conducts special courses for Transfer of Knowledge And Technology (TOKAT).
These courses form a part of a special contract, under which foreign designers are trained in designing certain systems or implement new system parts in an existing system.
